Elliot Rocke Estate Pink Ice Wine 

Product Description

This delicious Ice Wine is in a style that originated in Europe whereby grapes were left on the vine until the first deep frosts formed the freeze/thaw cycles, delicately concentrating the sugars and flavours of the grapes. Non-traditional methods have been utilised to emulate this process and the results are truly spectacular.

This new wine is in the same bottle as our original Ice Wine however it is blended with 5% Shiraz from the 2008 year.

WINEMAKERS COMMENTS

This wine is toffee apple in colour, with a bouquet of strawberries and citrus. Flavours of rose petal and berries are abundant. Voluptuous and mouth filling the wine displays great balance of sweetness and natural acidity. Equally at home as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to dessert style food or cheeses.
