Hahn Barossa Vineyards - Barossa Valley, South Australia
2007 Yanyarrie Cabernet Sauvignon
"Yanyarrie" is aboriginal for the eagle feathers that are part of the Hahn Family Crest and are also featured in the background of this elegant label under Neil Hahn Wines.
This 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon displays a deep rich purpley red colour. The bouquet is redolent with berry aromas and a hint of vanillin.
A plummy mouth filling well rounded wine with oodles of flavour on the palate which is well balanced and has a long silky finish which lingers in the mouth.
Cellaring: The cellaring potential of this wine is 5 - 7 years if stored in good conditions.
Food Suggestions : Being a biggish wine it will go best with flavoursome meat dishes or with a cheese platter.
