SFV have used viognier from its 2009 vintage in making this sparkling wine. Viognier was picked from SFV's Vine Vale vineyards early in February 2009 to ensure the crisp flavours of the viognier fruit were preserved in the making of this wine.

This Viognier is a non traditional sparkling wine varietal, but provides the ideal base for a light, yet crisp and flavoursome sparkling white wine. The Imperial Blonde is the perfect accompaniment to canapés and is a fabulous, finely beaded party starte to any celebration.
The wine shows good depth of flavour exhibiting apricot, peach and flower blossum notes of viognier.
Colour: Light, Pale Straw
Aroma: Apricot, Peach and Flower Blossom
Taste: Fine Honey and Sweet Pear with a persistent and fine bead
Food: Canapés, Lobster, Crab and Thai Dishes
