The Wylpena Vineyard Chardonnay is our signature varietal white wine. Part of this chardonnay vineyard is grafted to 100-year-old Grenache rootstock.
This unique combination allows the desired flavour profile and ripeness to be achieved early in the season adding a crisp freshness to this tropical fruit salad style.
A very slight influence of French oak adds complexity while an atypical addition of Sauvignon Blanc gives the nose a fresh elegant lift.
Serve chilled, this is just delicious.
Suggested Food: Fresh crusty bread, extra virgin olive oil and Dukkah (a drt ground mix of roasted almonds, pistachios, sesame seeds, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, salt, pepper, herbs and cinnamon).
